We are so blessed to be having a special Christmas season and to have growth in our partnership team this week. God brought us five new financial partners and one new prayer partner. That brings our total to 60 financial partners pledged to give 80% of our budget and 47 prayer partners! We also received several more one-time gifts which are so helpful to us. Thank you to each of you for your role in our ministry!
We hope and pray that each of you has a blessed Christmas in the place that God intends for you this year. We are not where we expected to be this Christmas, having hoped to already be in North Carolina earlier this year, and know the mixed emotions that come with the Christmas season. Yet we reflect on Joesph and Mary and how they were not where they expected to be that first Christmas day. They never expected to be far away from home giving birth in a stable without anyone to help. Yet we can now see that they had to be there to fulfill God’s plan of redemption for the world. We enter this season trusting that we are just where God needs us to be to fulfill His plan and hope you do too.
There are 11 days left in our miracle and we are excited to see how God will work in those final remaining days. If you would like to be a part of our miracle by giving to us or praying for us, please visit our website at http://theshipleys.org to learn more about our ministry and how you can be involved.
We had fun watching Hunter play Joesph in his preschool Nativity play last night and wanted to share it with you all.
