We only need $440/month in recurring pledges before we can move and start serving in our new roles! We have had some people ask if the pledges HAVE to be monthly. The answer is no. We just need the equivalent of $440/month, so any annual or semi-annual pledge can be divided by 12 or 6 and applied to our budget. So if you feel like a monthly commitment is more than you can do right now, that is not a problem, just consider if you can commit to something on a yearly basis.Phillip’s surgery has finally been scheduled as well. He will be having surgery on his lower back on February 27th, unless he can get a cancellation appointment sooner. He is looking forward to the relief it should provide.
We are beginning preparations to move and see God working out the details. We are going to send the majority of our stuff out to North Carolina ahead of us with Missionary Transport the second week of February. We hope to work on our final moving preparations while Phillip recovers and hit the road as soon as he is ready. If you are local to us in San Jose, please let us know if you have any boxes or packing supplies – that would be a big help. We will also need help loading the moving truck on either Thursday February 7 or Friday February 8.
We would love to have you on our partner team, but if you do not feel God calling you to partner with us, perhaps you know someone you can introduce us to who may be interested.
